Perhaps you've heard the announcements on-air that The Standards Channel is about to move. If the e-mail is any indicator, many of you are wondering if we're changing formats or going away. We're not changing formats, but we are relocating to a new home base. Where? Well, we decided to have some fun with this.
The logistics of this move (that is, moving a home, family, businesses and this very on-line radio station) created a host of logistical hurdles. Staying on during the move was plausible, yet very time consuming to set up and costly. Since we'll have to be off-line a few days during the move, we've decided to make a little sport out of this.
Starting Monday, May 21, we'll offer the first clue (or clues) to our new home base city. Here's a bonus clue: it's somewhere in America. On May 28th, we'll draw the names of five winners from all the correct guesses we receive via e-mail by Midnight eastern on Saturday May 26th. Our mascot, Roxy, will be offering several clues all week about where we're going and points along the way.
Five winners will receive a CD prize pack; one of those five will also win the grand prize: A $50 Wal-Mart Gift Card! Use it on gas (at participating stores), use it on merchandise, it's your call.
